German Chancellor Angela Merkel held a meeting with state prime ministers with the new type of corona virus (Covid-19) agenda, at 23.00-06 local time in risky cities and regions.Announced that a curfew will be applied between 00.00.
With the number of new types of corona virus (Covid-19) cases on the rise in Germany, Prime Minister Angela Merkel met with the prime ministers of 16 states for the first time in Berlin during the epidemic period. At the meeting, the issue of establishing common rules of the federal government and states on the measures to be taken within the scope of the fight against corona virus was discussed.
“A NEW QUARANTINE MUST BE AVOIDED”
Chancellor Angela Merkel called on states to make a joint effort in the fight against coronavirus. Addressing the state prime ministers at the meeting held at the Prime Ministry, Merkel said, “Do we want to take a bold step or meet again every week as in the spring. A new quarantine, such as the closure of social and economic life, should definitely be prevented”.

Merkel said, “Our priority should be to keep the economy running, to keep schools and daycare facilities open,” and said, “There will be a curfew as of 23.00 in risky cities and regions where the number of corona virus cases has risen sharply.” It has been stated that the curfew will be applied between 23:00 and 06:00 local time in the said regions.
Merkel said, “In regions with more than 50 new infections per 100 thousand people in a week, special celebrations will generally be limited to a maximum of 10 participants and two households. If the number of infections is 35 new cases per week in 100 thousand places, people in these regions will be closer for longer. In cases where they come together, the mask will be used.
HOLIDAY RESTRICTION DECISION POSTPONED
Last week in Germany, it was decided to request a document that the Covid-19 tests were negative for citizens in risky regions to enter their holiday destinations, otherwise it was reported that those coming from risky regions would not be admitted to holiday destinations. At today’s meeting, it was decided to postpone the implementation of the cautionary decision.
