An audit was made for student services in Istanbul. During the inspections, it was checked whether the rules were followed within the scope of coronavirus measures.
In the second phase of the Ministry of Education’s transition to face-to-face education, primary school 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th and 12th grades, high school preparatory class students and students with special needs started face to face education. Teams affiliated to the Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate inspected the school buses due to the start of face-to-face training.
In Kadıköy Bağdat Caddesi, the teams checked the documents in the service vehicles they stopped and warned the drivers to obey the rules. In addition, the teams checked the number of students in the service vehicles they stopped within the scope of coronavirus measures, whether the students were wearing masks, whether the social distance rules were followed, and whether there was disinfectant. The teams also asked the service staff whether the students’ fires were controlled. The teams saw that a student in the service was not wearing a mask and warned the service attendant and asked the student to wear his mask. Service officer Hande Keser said, “The students sit according to the seating plan. We measure their temperature when they get on the service. I’m a mother, we obey the rules.” Service driver Sefa Dikici said, “We follow the rules of hygiene. We have 3 students right now. We ventilate the vehicle. Our vehicle is disinfected twice a week,” he said.
An inspection was also made in Maltepe.
SCHOOL SERVICES AND SERVICE VEHICLES INSPECTED AT FATİH
In Fatih, teams affiliated to the Istanbul Traffic Supervision Branch Directorate inspected school buses and shuttle vehicles within the scope of coronavirus measures.
Fatih, in the vehicles stopped on Fındıkzade Millet Street, was checked whether citizens and drivers obey the social distance rules and whether they wear masks within the scope of coronavirus measures. The teams gave information to the passengers in the vehicle about social distance, mask set disinfectant.
