Anthony Chisholm (1943-2020) died at the age of 77, like the industry journal “Variety” citing the agency of the actor reported.
Chisholm, who was nominated for a Tony Award – the most important theater and musical award in the USA – “was an actor and storyteller like no other”, according to a statement from the agency. In his art he embodied “loyalty, devotion and compassion”.
The actor was nominated for his role in the play “Radio Golf”, but he may be better known for his role in the film “Chi-Raq” and in the HBO series “Oz – Hell Behind Bars”. Chisholm leaves behind a son, daughter and two grandchildren, according to the report.
