Scorer for the very first time with Morocco on Friday, Selim Amallah is ambitious.
Selected for the first time a year ago, Selim Amallah only had to wait for his third cap to unlock his counter in selection. Ideally served by Achraf Hakimi, Standard’s attacking midfielder opened the scoring, in a friendly, against Senegal last Friday (Morocco’s 3-1 victory).
A goal that means a lot to the former Hurlu. “It’s a dream come true for me and I will always give my all for this jersey,” he says in a video published by his Federation. And Selim Amallah also sees further with his selection. “I dream of winning the Africa Cup and why not play the World Cup with Morocco.”
Morocco, leader of its group with four points out of six, will resume qualifying for the next CAN, in November, but before that, Selim Amallah and his partners will play another friendly match against the Democratic Republic of Congo on Tuesday evening.
🗣 Selim Amallah I want the africa cup and after insh Allah the world cup 🤩🇲🇦🦁 Feeling of pride 💪
