The holiday and long weekend of this Monday, October 12, has the authorities on alert for possible massive displacements of citizens to other locations.
To do this, a sanitary cordon was set up for this eventuality, which is intended to restrict interregional travel. That is, entry and exit from one area to another will not be allowed in order to avoid the increase in coronavirus cases nationwide.
For its strict application, several sanitary cords will be located that will work from October 9 at 6:00 p.m. and will extend until 12 of the same month at 11:00 p.m. They will be located in Metropolitan Region, Greater Valparaíso, Greater Concepción, Padre Las Casas and Temuco.

As reported by the Government in its Step by Step Plan, the measure of the sanitary cords will be applied throughout the country regardless of the phase in which the city is.
However, there are certain exceptions that will have travel authorization:
