A brunch to prepare? We are inspired by this ultra easy and tasty recipe by pastry chef Christophe Michalak.
Christophe Michalak has the gift to delight his Instagram followers. Regularly, the chef shares his daily recipes on the social network, both savory and sweet. And contrary to what one might imagine from a great pastry chef, Christophe Michalak’s cakes and other gourmet ideas are always disconcertingly simple and require, in addition, very few ingredients. A few days ago, the one who just published Recipes for a confined pastry (ed. Hachette cuisine) unveiled its secret dish for a family brunch: the gravlax salmon pie. Chic and simple to make, it will be perfect for a Sunday lunch.
Here is the recipe for the gravlax salmon tart by Christophe Michalak:
- A puff pastry
- Heavy cream or mascarpone or fromage blanc
- Fine herbs: chives, coriander …
- 1 onion
- Several slices of gravlax salmon
- 1 lime
- Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Roll out a disk of puff pastry. Make a border, put heavy cream (or mascarpone or cottage cheese) in the center of the pie.
Season with salt, pepper and fine herbs (chives, cilantro etc.).
Arrange a large sliced onion on the pie.
Bake for 40 minutes in a ventilated oven.
Once the pie has cooled, form slices of gravlax salmon. Add a few cilantro leaves and lime wedges.
Enjoy without delay!
