Covid, collapse of traffic at airports: at 1995 levels, March-September -83%

Italian airports recorded a new heavy collapse and, after the timid recovery of the summer months, closed September with only 5,738,268 passengers, 69.7% less than in 2019. These are figures that bring the sector back 25 years, to levels recorded in 1995. Assaeroporti highlights this, underlining that between March and September the national airport system lost 83% of passengers, 68% of air movements and 33% of goods.
