Trainer hits with Fox until the end of 2022
THE cruise announced at night this quinta–market (15) hiring the technician Luiz Felipe Scolari for the continuation of the dispute B series do Brazilian championship.
The 71-year-old coach hit Raposa until the end of 2022 and arrives to fill the spot for Ney Franco, who was fired last Sunday after a goalless draw with the West that kept the Minas Gerais team in the competition’s second spot.
In the note announcing the agreement with Felipão, Cruzeiro highlighted the “extremely victorious curriculum, with 27 titles won throughout the career”.
The coach has won titles such as the World Cup (2002), Confederations Cup (2013) Libertadores Cup (1995 and 1999), Recopa Sul-Americana (1996), Brazilian Championship (1996 and 2018), Brazil Cup (1991, 1994) and 2012), Chinese League (2015, 2016 and 2017) and Uzbek League (2009).
This is not Felipão’s first cruise. He has led the team between 2000 and 2001 in 75 matches, adding up to 40 wins, 23 draws and 12 losses. At that time he won the Copa Sul-Minas in 2001.
Our president, Sérgio Santos Rodrigues, announced the arrival of Felipão first hand for those who are Diamond Partners, through an exclusive video.
