A wind that reached several regions of Belo Horizonte this Sunday (11) still causes disorders. An tree large that dropped down at Rua Dom Oscar Romero, in the Bairro Nova Gameleira, West Region, it hampers vehicle traffic and leaves many homes without electricity.
According to the Fire Department of Minas Gerais (CBMMG), the first request for removal of the tree took place on Sunday night, around 8 pm, but only on Monday morning (12) the corporation responded to the occurrence.
Although it did not rain heavily in the region, strong winds would have caused the accident, which left more than 400 residents without power.
Apparently, it will not be necessary to make repairs to the electrical wiring, according to Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (Cemig). The company said that an assessment will be made shortly after the fire service to clear the route.
