It turns out that the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn, is the current contractor to manufacture Apple products, including the famous iPhone. However, knowing the potential that the future of the automotive industry has with electric cars, it has just presented, in Taipei, a chassis to be used in this type of vehicle.

  • The chassis for electric cars is designed to be adaptablee for size, wheelbase, suspension type, and battery size.
  • The company can assemble the chassis based on the specifications that the automotive manufacturer requires.
  • On the other hand, the firm plans to introduce a solid-state battery for electric cars in 2024, which will be superior to any lithium ion.
  • At the presentation of the chassis for electric cars, Foxconn president Liu Young-way stated that the company aims to capture 10% of that market by 2025.

Last January, Foxconn and FCA signed a joint-venture to build electric cars in China and currently the company is also a supplier of Tesla.
