Mudanya Municipality will collect the olives grown in the municipal lands, medians and parks, turn them into olive oil and then deliver them to the tables of the needy citizens.
Harvest abundance in Mudanya continues to be brought to the tables with the social responsibility project of Mudanya Municipality. Municipal teams started collecting olives grown in municipal lands, medians and parks. Within the framework of the “olive oil from the soil” project, the olives collected by the teams of the Science Department, Parks and Gardens Unit will be bottled after being processed in the oil shop and delivered to the families registered in the municipal system by the Olive Branch team.
The first harvest of olives was made by the Mayor of Mudanya Hayri Türkyılmaz. Stating that they have delivered the olives they have collected from municipal areas in Mudanya to the needy for three years, Mayor Türkyılmaz said, “We produce our olive oil, each gram of which is sweat, with love, and we feed our labor with love. We distribute what we produce fairly to our citizens registered in our Olive Branch unit.”
Türkyılmaz reminded that they will also give purchase support to the olive producers who are damaged by the hail and that the olives will be turned into oil and distributed. – BURSA.
