PARIS (Reuters) – France, Germany, Britain, Italy and Spain are deeply concerned about Israel’s plans to build new settlements in the West Bank.

“We are deeply concerned about the decision taken by the Israeli authorities to continue the construction of more than 4,900 settlement units in the occupied West Bank,” the statement read.
