Miguel Herrera acknowledged that the issue a series of criticisms against the Mexican National Team and against coach Gerardo Martino when considering that the training caused injuries to America’s players.

The Águilas coach offered an interview to TeleMundo in which spoke of his strong statements against “minicycles” performed by the Tri to concentrate the selected ones.

“Tata was at his jobs and we talked with people from the selection team, we talked, we made it clear, I apologized to the moment of fever that I brought, but I did let them know that my annoyance was because there was no communication in what we had been doing and what they had planned to do. We were very good and I think it was the best, the talk was very good, “said Herrera.

El Piojo had swept El Tri and especially the team of physical trainers after goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa was injured in a warm-up prior to the América-Cruz Azul duel. The azulcrema goalkeeper came from being concentrated with the Mexican team.
