The motion of censure of Vox against the government of Pedro Sánchez already has a date. It will be debated in the Congress of Deputies next October 21 and 22, after being registered at the end of September, as Santiago Abascal promised before the summer. The president of the formation himself will be the alternative candidate, and the proposal will be defended by the Vox deputy for Barcelona, Ignacio Garriga.
The votes in favor of it will be only those of the Vox parliamentary group, that is, it will have 52 yeses. On the other hand, both the PP and Citizens have distanced themselves from the motion, considering some that it “reinforces Pedro Sánchez” and the others that it is “a waste of time” in the midst of the coronavirus crisis. Genoa seems to be betting on abstention while the oranges will vote against.
More information shortly.
