“KN-95” masks that are insufficiently protective are recalled

The Federal Office of Consumer Affairs has announced that the “KN-95” type masks produced by the company e + h Services SA do not sufficiently protect users. Other masks bearing the designation “KN-95” are not affected by the recall.


Customers are requested to stop using the mask produced by e + h Services SA with article number 2581098.

The company e + h Services SA recalls its “KN-95” type mask. Following a check, it turns out that the product does not sufficiently protect its user.

Federal Office of Consumer Affairs (BFC) announces in a press release that following a control of the SUVA, the lack of protection of this mask can “endanger the health of its users”.

Other masks not affected

This is specifically the mask produced by e + h Services SA bearing the article number 2581098 sold in particular in hardware stores. Other masks bearing the designation “KN-95” are not affected, according to the BFC.

Customers are asked to stop using this product and are asked to return it to the point of sale for reimbursement.
