This Sunday, Lewis Hamilton wrote his name in the history books when he achieved a 91st victory in his career at the Eifel GP, thus tying the record of the legendary Michael sSchumacher and placing next to the German as the drivers with the most races won in the history of the Formula 1.

Despite starting the race from second position, Hamilton took advantage of a mistake by his teammate Valtteri Boots and took the lead of the race, which he maintained from lap 13 until the end.

On the other hand, the Mexican pilot Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez, came very close to the podium again, finishing in fourth place and climbing one notch in the drivers ranking of the Season to place in fifth place.

The next race of the atypical 2020 F1 season will take place on October 25 in Portugal and there Hamilton will try to take the victory and thus become the top race winner in F1 history.
