(ANSA) – TURIN, 10 OCT – Technological upgrade for the entire Lingotto complex. This is foreseen by the energy management and hi-tech maintenance project designed by Enerbrain, a start-up born five years ago within the Innovative Business Incubator of the Turin Polytechnic, winner of numerous awards, including, in 2019, Marzotto for Enterprise. In the next 4 years, the platform developed thanks to the work of a team of 21 engineers and maintenance technicians, “will allow us to have a global vision of the energy management of this colossal structure”, for a total of 500,000 square meters. explains Giuseppe Giordano, founder of Enerbrain.
The work, which started from the 8 Gallery commercial gallery, concerns the whole of the monumental building that was the object of the renovation project signed by the architect Renzo Piano 35 years ago: exhibition spaces, 45 thousand square meters of offices, university classrooms, a museum, two hotels , a multiplex cinema. Everything will be subjected to ‘energy retrofit’ solutions designed ad hoc by the company. The combination of the special sensors with the IoT control systems designed by Enerbrain “will make it possible to manage all the variables in the same dashboard, offering facility managers advanced control tools but also predictive management of the various spaces.
