MILAN (Reuters) – Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 39, recently recovered from a Covid-19 infection, scored both goals in his team’s 2-1 win over Inter Milan in the Serie A classic this season Saturday.
The Swedish striker put Milan ahead in the 13th minute when he rebounded his penalty kick saved by Samir Handanovic. Three minutes later, he zoomed in after completing Rafael Leão’s cross.
In a breathtaking first half, Romelu Lukaku decreased after 29 minutes, the first goal Milan conceded in Serie A this season. Inter won a penalty in the 30th minute of the second half, but it was removed due to impediment in the construction of the play.
Milan have won all four games so far and lead the standings with 12 points, while Inter have seven after their first loss of the season.
