A sad day for all Mexican fans of the WRC and the competition organizers announced that the edition of Rally Mexico 2021 will be canceled since the pandemic due to the new coronavirus does not allow Guanajuato to host the sports event for the next year.

Rally Mexico 2021 was scheduled to take place in March.

The competition in our country has been part of the World Rally Championship calendar since 2004 and previously it had already been suspended on one occasion, in 2009, however Guanajuato has established itself as one of the most attractive dates of the championship, not only for the fans, but also for the pilots, since it generates that around 300 thousand people attend to enjoy the event during the week of activities.

But in order not to leave fans out of the excitement, the organizers announced that they are already planning a North American Rally in Guanajuato with star drivers and even European guests.
