Since yesterday, October 11 at 11:13 p.m., Chiapas has not stopped shaking. The National Seismological Service (SSN) recorded an earthquake of magnitude 5.5 with an epicenter 142 km southwest of Mapstepec, in Chiapas.
At 11:17 pm, another tremor “presented”, on this occasion, the SSN indicated that it was 4.2 in intensity at 37 km southwest of Mapstepec.
They still had not recovered from the shock, when at 00:12 hours a new earthquake was registered in Mapstepec, this time it was of magnitude 4 14 km from the southwest of the region.
And at 00:53 hours 144 km to the southwest in Mapstepec the earthquake had an intensity of 4.2. At 02:03 hours another seismic movement was registered, but now 4.8. While at 05:17 hours the National Seismological Institute registered a 4.0 magnitude earthquake in the same region.
Another earthquake was registered at 1:06 am of intensity 5 and with an epicenter 44 km east of Ciudad Hidalgo.
