The next edition of the Batibouw construction and renovation fair, scheduled from February 27 to March 7, 2021, is being maintained, we learned Tuesday from Frédéric François, CEO of the organizing company FISA. On Monday, the organizers of the Auto Show announced that the event, scheduled for next January, will ultimately not take place in 2021.
“It’s a shame that the auto show has been canceled, but it is a business decision due to the withdrawal of exhibitors”, explains Frédéric François. “It was quite possible to organize a fair under safe conditions, with a protocol approved by the authorities.” The organizer of fairs and exhibitions ensures that it is entirely possible to ensure the safety of visitors and exhibitors.
The next Batibouw show is therefore maintained, but it will at least be a smaller edition than usual. At present, 20,000 square meters of booths are reserved by exhibitors and a small 10,000 square meters are under option. “If we get to around 25,000 square meters, that would be almost half the area of the last edition. With a small 500 exhibitors, the offer will remain attractive.”
