On Saturday 17 October the news of an outbreak of newborns emerged in theUmberto I of Roma. 13 would have been infected unborn children. The management of the Polyclinic, however, denied the presence of several positive cases in the neonatal ward of the hospital.

The situation at the Child Jesus of Palidoro
All’Bambino Gesù children’s hospital in Palidoro, which has become Covid Hospital, on the other hand, are 26 positive patients, including 15 children and 11 parents. All would be in good condition. Four of them are about to be discharged.
To take stock of the conditions of the patients the head of the center, Andrea Campana: “After the decline in the summer period, last week we recorded on average the arrival of two children a day, a turnaround that all in all we expected, with the resumption of schools and activities. The clinical symptoms of hospitalized children are extremely mild: a little fever, a little low neutrophils, cough or gastrointestinal disturbances. No child is hospitalized in intensive care“.
