This weekend there was a tragedy in the world of motorsport due to the unfortunate death of Laura Salvo, a 21-year-old Spanish copilot who lost his life when the car he was riding in crashed into a tree in the Vidreiro Rally.
New details about the tragic event were released this Sunday. According to new reports, Miquel Socias and Laura Salvo were traveling in the Campos de Lis area, northeast of the town of Leiria, when Socias lost control of the vehicle due to high speed and crashed into a tree on the right side.

After the accident, the fans who were nearby came to help the copilot and a few minutes and moments later the emergency services attended to her. Unfortunately, the pilot had a respiratory arrest and did not respond to resuscitation maneuvers.
