Trump, after days of isolation, returns to the public with a show at the White House in front of a thousand people, many of them without masks, and all without practicing social distancing. Trump addresses them from the balcony, also without a mask, and reassures: “I’m fine”, “we will eradicate the Chinese virus once and for all with the strength of our medicine” and launches the Blexit: “African Americans leave the Democrats”.
Then he launches an attack on the radical left that wants to turn the United States into a “communist country”, against Joe Biden who is unable to be president. He praises the police and addresses the African Americans of the “Blexit”, the black-exit, the movement launched by the conservative Candance Owens that aims at a “revival” of African Americans who bid farewell to the Democratic party.
For Trump it is the official return to the electoral campaign that will see him fly to Florida on Monday and Pennsylvania the following day, two key states for the coveted re-election. On October 14, the president will be in Iowa. Appointments intended to transmit a signal of normality, of a Commander in chief who has now recovered from the virus.
But its lack of clarity makes many imagine that the president has not yet tested negative for Covid-19 and therefore the choice of organizing a maxi event at the White House is rash. “His reckless personal conduct since he tested positive is immoral”, attacked Joe Biden.
With Biden, the second duel of 15 October was officially canceled by the commission that organizes the presidential confrontations after Donald’s refusal to participate in a virtual confrontation. On the 15th, instead of the debate, Biden will participate in a town hall where he will directly answer the questions of the voters. Trump will also speak with voters, answering questions from undecided on various television networks.
The only and last debate on the calendar therefore remains at the moment that of 22 October. Trump’s campaign continues to propose a third confrontation on Oct.29, but Biden’s staff have already flatly rejected the proposal.
