Argentine volleyball suffers. Most of the players left after a 2019/20 Argentine League that could not finish and a 2020/21 that still has no date or venue and four teams (Bolívar, River, Gigantes del Sur and Monteros) have already resigned before the ball starts to fly.

Thus, to find a national celebration, you have to go abroad, although not very far; to a bordering country, it reaches. Demián González, former winner of the League with Club de Amigos, UPCN and Bolívar, he had the pleasure of being champion of the Paulista Championship with the Renata Volei, a tournament that he achieved for the first time, after defeating 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-17) visiting the strong Taubaté team, which he had also beaten (3-2) in the Going. The Campina team is led by Horacio Dileo, in turn assistant to Marcelo Méndez in the men’s senior team. Taubaté’s coach is Javier Weber, which Bolívar left this year.

Renata’s campaign, who had lost four Paulista finals, including that of 2019, included seven wins and one loss.
