KIEV, Oct 16 (Reuters) – Ukraine’s grain exports have fallen to 13.64 million tonnes so far this season – from July 2020 to June 2021 – from 15.36 million tonnes there. period of the previous campaign, due to lower volumes of corn, the Ministry of Economy said on Friday.

Ukraine accounts for about 16% of world grain exports and sold about 57 million tonnes of grain to foreign buyers in the 2019/20 season.
The government has said that exports could decline to 47.4 million tonnes in 2020/21 due to a lower harvest.
The Economy Ministry expects the 2020 grain harvest to fall to around 68 million tons from the 2019 record of 75.1 million tons due to adverse weather.
