HARRISON, NJ, USA (AP) – Maximiliano Urruti scored the lead goal in the aftermath as the Montreal Impact beat Inter Miami 2-1 at Red Bull Arena on Saturday.

Bojan Krkic scored the other Impact goal, in addition to facilitating the scoring assist for Argentine Urruti, who first pushed the ball into the open goal for Montreal to take the lead in the 80th minute.

Montreal reached 23 points, which are worth it to occupy the eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

The Honduran Romell Quioto filtered a short ball so that Krkic escaped by the right, before sending the flush service with all the advantages for Urruti.

Krkic opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a 30-meter right hand that sent the ball hitting a post.

Brek Shea fired a shot that deflected at defender Zachary Brault-Guillard and goalkeeper James Pantemis before going to the net, making it 1-1 in the 33rd minute.

Inter saw a three-game unbeaten streak snapped. In his first season in the league, he is in twelfth place, with 18 points.

In the other Saturday meeting, the Chicago Fire and Sporting Kansas City drew 2-2.
