In addition to the iconic red, which Valentino Garavani himself had made the trademark of his eponymous fashion house, the Rockstud accessories with pyramid-shaped rivets are also one of the distinguishing features – and bestsellers – of today Valentino. Ten years ago they made their debut under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli (at that time still together with Maria Grazia Chiuri). Both designers had previously worked as accessory designers under Valentino Garavani.
Maria Grazia Chiuri has been with Christian Dior since 2016, and Pierpaolo Piccioli has been solely responsible for the Valentino collections since then. The Rockstud accessories continue to enjoy great popularity – but the values that the designer celebrates and interweaves in his collections are even stronger: identity, inclusivity and community. This can be seen in breathtaking couture collections and fashion shows with various castings, at which fashion critics and BAZAAR fashion bosses already shed tears.
In this sense, the tenth birthday of the Rockstuds is not simply celebrated with a cooperation, but with the Rockstud X project. Brands and artists are interpreted. The X in the name stands for the Roman number ten as well as for the sign that two partners in the age of Fashion cooperations connects with each other.

Craig Green actually designs men’s fashion between poetry and function, which also moves his audience to tears during the fashion shows. So if Craig Green and Pierpaolo Piccioli are designing together, you could use handkerchiefs. So far, however, it has only been revealed: For the collaboration, the iconic Rockstuds will be reinterpreted in an unexpected part.
