While the schedule of “reductions” in the confinement constraints coming to France is still rather unclear, Disneyland Paris still hopes to be able to reopen its doors for the end of the year celebrations.
Pending a government decision, the famous amusement park has decided to take advantage of these long weeks of dead calm to focus on several long-planned projects, which suddenly accelerated with the health crisis linked to the Covid-19 epidemic.

A hotel dedicated to Marvel heroes
Last September, on the occasion ofIAAPA Expo 2020, a virtual conference bringing together professionals from the theme park industry, the magical park was able to present several tempting new features, among which the transformation of the “New York” hotel, which will be dedicated to the universe of Marvel superheroes in 2021.
The 4-star establishment “will recreate the universe of a New York modern art gallery to host works that have marked 80 years of Marvel history, as well as new creations produced exclusively for the hotel”, says Disney. In total, fans will be able to discover no less than 300 works in this unique place.
Frozen, Cars …
Other novelties have been confirmed in pictures by Disneyland: the attraction dedicated to Snow Queen, long announced, or a project called “Cars Route 66 Road Trip” focused on animated film Cars, as you can see in this tweet from the Euro Disney group posted in mid-November.
As the theme park specifies, it will be a new version of the “Studio Tram Tour”, located in the Walt Disney Studios park, which took visitors behind the scenes of the filming of action scenes. The latter will open its doors in 2021.
The park open at Christmas?
In addition to these projects, Disneyland still hopes to be able to welcome visitors over the Christmas period. And the park stands ready in the event of a green light from the authorities, as was explained to BFMTV :
“In anticipation of the Christmas holidays, reservations remain open for stays from December 19 to January 3. We hope to be open during this period, if conditions are right and government decisions allow.”
