Vladimir Petkovic has chosen a relatively offensive team to challenge Belgium in a friendly. In Leuven (8:45 p.m.), Edimilson Fernandes and Steven Zuber will animate the corridors.

There are only three nominal defenders in the eleven fielded by Vladimir Petkovic: Eray Cömert, Fabian Schär and Loris Benito. This means that the latter will probably have to take a place in the defense of the Swiss team. Zuber on the left and Fernandes on the right will occupy the outdoor positions.

Like Jonas Omlin against Croatia last month, Switzerland’s goals will be guarded this time by Yvon Mvogo, Yann Sommer being spared. The Friborg goalkeeper of PSV Eindhoven will celebrate his third selection, the first for two years and a defeat against Qatar (1-0) in Lugano.

Finally, captain Granit Xhaka is associated with Djibril Sow in the middle, while Mario Gavranovic will be surrounded by Breel Embolo and Admir Mehmedi in attack. Xherdan Shaqiri, in particular, is thus preserved.

The compositions of Belgium-Switzerland, kick off at 8:45 p.m .:

Belgique: Mignolet; Bornauw, Vertonghen, Mechele; Chadli, Praet, Dendoncker, Vanakaen; Lukebakio, Batshuayi, T. Hazard.

Suisse: Mvogo; Cömert, Schär, Benito; Fernandes, Sow, Xhaka, Zuber; Embolo, Gavranovic, Mehmedi.
