Supreme Court, separate votes after 3/11


(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, NOV 7 – Supreme Court Judge Samuel Alito has ordered Pennsylvania to separate, and count separately, all the ballots received after Election Day. The order, which follows those of the highest electoral authorities of the Pennsylvania, comes in response to a Republican Party appeal and is motivated in part by his doubts about compliance with the guidelines of Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, a Democrat, to whom Alito asked for an answer by Saturday afternoon, and who then turned the question to the entire Supreme Court for possible other decisions. Meanwhile, Joe Biden extends the distance in Pennsylvania, where he has an advantage of over 20,000 votes, 21,746 votes to be exact. The state, decisive in the race for the White House, has not yet been assigned.
