4 children living in a house on Mostovaya street in Dnipro city of Ukraine called the police and said that they wanted to escape from the house.
The police, who went to the address, first encountered garbage piles in the garden of the house, then piles of garbage in the house.
While an ambulance was called to the scene, children aged 7, 9, 11, 13 and 14 were taken to the hospital and examined.
The children said that their mothers and fathers separated, their father later married another woman and their uncle and aunt lived in the same house.
The police detained the father, stepmother, uncle and aunt after the children explained that all the elders living in the house were violent towards them.
It was understood that the people in question left the children at home, went out and locked the door on the children.
In the statement made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, it was announced that 4 children will be kept under the auspices of the state and that the proceedings regarding the elders of the family who inflict violence on children continue.
