The Zurich canton doctor sends the entire 1st team of the Grasshoppers into quarantine. The club announced this in a communiqué.
The coronavirus test at the beginning of the week was positive for five players, it is said. The authorities would classify this as a “concentration”, so that all players would have to go into domestic isolation.
The five infected players have been in quarantine since last Saturday, according to the club. Since the rest of the team has not had any contact with the affected players since then, these days are counted towards the team. The Grasshoppers can resume team training next Tuesday.
