Arrived last September in the brigade, the new recruit smelled a nice scam. Only 2g of cannabis was stashed in 5kg of fake resin buns, she managed to spot them!

When Jinger “marked” on Tuesday the door of a technical room in an underground car park in Cran-Gevrier, on the outskirts of Annecy (F), the patrol immediately searched the premises, tells “Le Dauphiné libéré”. And for a moment they thought they had got their hands on a good quantity of drugs: one bag indeed contained what appeared to be 5kg of cannabis resin. But, in reality, these breads only contained… chocolate!

Only one package contained barely 2g of narcotic. This did not prevent Jinger, a Malinois crossbreed female and Belgian Shepherd, from sniffing out this small amount of drugs. As for this somewhat strange traffic, we do not know if buyers have already been cheated by this scam or if the dealers were just setting it up.
