ING bank is targeting an average of 50% work from home, she announced on Friday. A collective labor agreement (CCT) has been signed to this effect between ING Belgium and “the majority of social partners”, ie Setca-BBTK and CNE-ACV. The CGSLB rejected the proposal, which however has no impact on the implementation of the agreements.
From May 1, the ambition will be to reach an average of 50% of homework, if the health situation allows. A budget is planned to equip employees with ergonomic work tools at home.
A second CCT was signed on Friday, which “creates a framework intended to promote internal mobility, through the acquisition of new skills and the improvement of existing skills”, explains ING Belgium in a press release. “This framework also makes it possible to support employees in the continuous changes of society in general and of the banking sector in particular.”
These new CLAs cover the period 2021 until the end of 2023.
