According to a survey, a majority of the population agrees with the official measures against the coronavirus. In French-speaking Switzerland, the proportion of those who reject the measures is significantly higher than in German-speaking Switzerland.
In the survey by Marketagent Switzerland of 1004 people from German and French-speaking Switzerland between the ages of 14 and 74, 55 percent stated that they were very or somewhat in agreement with the official measures. There was hardly any difference between the sexes.
26 percent of those questioned were undecided in their assessment. 19 percent rejected the measures either entirely or entirely. According to the survey, opinion on the measures depends on political attitudes, educational level and gender. The representative survey was carried out from February 4 to 15, 2021.
