WAC goalie Alexander Kofler broke his nose in yesterday’s Bundesliga away game against SV Ried (0: 4). The 34-year-old from Carinthia had to be replaced yesterday shortly after the break after a bad collision with teammate Dominik Baumgartner.

Kofler will be available again this weekend
“But there is still an all-clear, because it’s not that bad. I can start training again on Wednesday,” said the keeper in a video message on Instagram.
“The head is still buzzing a bit, but that’s just part of it. I’ll be available again at the weekend, everything is half as bad,” said the WAC’s regular goalie fiercely.
Next Sunday (5 p.m.) the WAC will meet WSG Tirol at home. With a win, the Carinthians could fix their participation in the championship group ahead of time.
