The worries in Norway were great: After themselves King Harald (84) in January knee surgery had to undergo, the Norwegian monarch was much longer than initially thought. Harald’s sick leave was extended three times until he finally returned to his royal duties on April 12th.

The king is fighting his way back: See the video above, the first recordings of Harald of Norway after his operation.

The father of showed up on Friday (April 23) Crown Prince Haakon (47) at a digital meeting of the Norwegian Conservation Union. Even if there is great relief over the return of the king, these images give cause for concern: The Exertions of the last weeks are clearly visible to him. How well is Harald really?

Even if Harald of Norway was absent for several months, the population knew that the royal duties were well represented. Harald’s son Crown Prince Haakon took over as prince regent the royal duties his fathers. Even after Harald’s recovery and return to work, Haakon will be by his father’s side and support him as best he can. The Crown Prince has truly matured in his role as Prince Regent. King Harald is certainly proud of his son!
