The recipe for pizza with merguez

Ingredients :

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 150 g of tomato sauce
  • 4 merguez
  • 1 mozzarella ball
  • 2 button mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : preheat the oven to 210 ° C (thermostat 7).

2nd step : unroll the pizza dough and spread the tomato sauce on it.

Step 3: cut the merguez into slices and spread them over the pizza.

Step 4: cut the mozzarella, mushrooms and peppers into slices. Arrange them on the pizza.

Step 5: bake for 20 minutes. Serve.

The recipe for the tortilla with peppers and merguez

Ingredients :

  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • parsley
  • 4 merguez
  • 6 eggs
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sweet or strong paprika
  • salt pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : peel, rinse and cook the potatoes in salted water for 10 minutes.

2nd step : meanwhile, seed and dice the peppers. Two minutes before the end of cooking, add the seeded peppers to the pan with the potatoes to make them blanch.

Step 3: drain the vegetables and cut the potatoes into slices.

Step 4: finely chop the parsley. Cut the merguez into small pieces.

Step 5: beat the eggs and season them with salt, pepper and paprika.

Step 6: fry the merguez in a very hot pan without adding any fat. Once cooked, set them aside.

Step 7: in the same pan (without washing it), heat the butter and oil, then brown the vegetables for 3 minutes.

Step 8: add the merguez, parsley and pour the eggs evenly over everything. Cook for 10 minutes over very low heat. Flip the tortilla over and cook for another 5 minutes to set. Let cool before serving.

The recipe for pasta with ricotta and merguez

Ingredients :

  • 4 merguez
  • 200 g ricotta
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 1 punnet of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : cook the pasta in salted boiling water, keeping them al dente.

2nd step : meanwhile, cook the merguez in a very hot pan, turning them regularly. Cut them into slices and set aside.

Step 3: pour the tomato sauce into the pan and heat.

Step 4: drain the spaghetti, and pour them into the pan.

Step 5: then add the pieces of merguez, and mix for 1 minute over medium heat.

Step 6: add the rinsed cherry tomatoes and the ricotta. Moderately salt, pepper, mix gently and serve immediately.

The merguez burger recipe

Ingredients :

  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 merguez
  • 4 tranches cheddar
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 40 g of batavia
  • 4 tablespoons of ketchup
  • salt pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : peel, then slice the onion.

2nd step : seed then cut the pepper into strips.

Step 3: cut the tomatoes into pieces.

Step 4: in a pan over medium heat, brown the onion, pepper and tomatoes for 6 minutes. Salt.

Step 5: brown the merguez in a frying pan over high heat, without fat. Cut them in half.

Step 6: wash and wring out the salad.

Step 7: Lightly toast your burger buns. Spread ketchup on the crumbs.

Step 8: assemble your burgers starting with the salad, top with merguez, cheddar slices and finish with the tomato / pepper / onion mixture. Close your burgers. Serve.

The recipe for merguez cake

Ingredients :

  • 180 g flour
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 merguez
  • 1 red tomato
  • 1 yellow tomato
  • 30 g of candied tomatoes
  • 50 g d’emmental
  • 8 cl of oil
  • 10 cl of milk
  • salt pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : brown the merguez in a small frying pan without fat then cut them into cubes.

2nd step : rinse the tomatoes and dice them. Cut the candied tomatoes into strips. Grate the Emmental.

Step 3: preheat the oven to 180 ° C (thermostat 6).

Step 4: pour the flour into a bowl and mix with the yeast.

Step 5: make a well in the center then add the whole eggs, milk and oil and mix well.

Step 6: add the diced merguez and tomatoes, the candied tomatoes and the Emmental. Add salt and pepper.

Step 7: pour the preparation into a cake mold then bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Check the cooking with the tip of a knife: it should come out dry. Serve warm or cold.
