The Valencian Community has reached a new maximum since February when registering 2,098 infections of coronavirus in a day and two deceased in the last seven days, while hospital pressure rises again after yesterday’s slight decrease and there are 23 more patients admitted to the ward and six more occupied ICU beds, according to the Ministry of Health. Thus, the total number of positives has risen to 423,543 people since the start of the pandemic and 19,422 cases remain active. Valencian hospitals currently have 390 people admitted and 54 ICU beds occupied: 21 in the province of Castellón, 3 in the ICU; 48 in the province of Alicante, 5 of them in the ICU; and 321 in the province of Valencia, 46 of them in ICU. The registered discharges, between hospitalized and mild, have been 1,244 discharges. As for outbreaks, eight have more than ten cases. The most numerous have social origin and have been detected in Valencia (20), Alicante (22) and Enguera (14).
